Dave joined Pentland as a trainee in 1997 and spent the winter months in the pool learning the skills to prepare him for open water.
His first open water dive was a spring evening in a wet suit at Dunbar, "brilliant time" but he very quickly decided that a dry suit was a must for Scottish waters. Having worked through the training schedule to Sports Diver then Branch Instructor he is now a Master Diver. Dave's “style” of diving is slow and easy, taking in the sites and enjoying both boat dives and shore dives. Most of his diving has been in the UK with a few logged in and around the Med.
